Oslo meets Palermo

Group Exhibition of the Oslo House Studios Cooperative artists at the Palermo Bookshop in Basel, as part of SUMME 2021 14th - 21st March 2021

"What would you take with you on a trip to Palermo from Oslo ?"

...Brahman, Atman, Upadhis, Veiled Truth, Attachment...

On a trip from Oslo to Palermo, Rama Kalidindi would like to take Atman with her as a travel companion. Atman is the individual soul, a part of the bigger Brahman; the soul of souls, the Ultimate Reality in the universe.

This journey is one from whiter, snowier, higher lattitudes of Oslo to warmer climes of radiant sunshine and a vibrant seas, amidst different tastes and fragrances of Palermo.

This journey is clouded by the multi-layered veils of the Upadhis, disguising the real truth. The truth peeks through the openings as we peer through the small sparkly openings, letting in light; bright light and visions. Revealing an unveiled truth. Each gaze, unveils a new truth, freeing us of attachments and limitations and reservations. As we unveil the truth, the freedom, the warmth enters our system, we become free and liberated as we approach the south, further and further south, warmer and freer.
