A project based on inspirations from the work of the German sculptor and photographer Thomas Demand, who staged real life scenes in the form of replicas made out of paper. Once the model was created, he photographed the scene with the appropriate lighting to recreate an exact depiction of the scene, excluding any people. After photographing the staged scene with optimal illumination, he destroyed the model that he created. A paper model based on the Hindu/Buddhist Temple, Angkor Wat in Cambodia was meticulously constructed using hand-rolled paper tubes, reformed paper as papier mache, to shape the doorway, the vegetation and rocks around the entrance. The module's inspirations were catalysed by Marianne Diethelm and Georgio Cadosch.
