From down dogs to cobras to up dogs. Free flow yoga through vinyasas and a few other poses. Movement for people based on the observsation of dogs and cats. No dogs or cats required for this event.

Walk the dog parcour with Fit2run dog physiotherapy - Dog physiotherapist Yvonne Bennett will show you joint-friendly movement sequences and exercises for your 4-legged friend, to support and promote healthy muscles in your dog's everyday life.

Take the opportunity and have your dog looked at for free by Fit2run dog physiotherapy (Yvonne Bennett) on site. You will receive feedback about any problems of the dog's musculoskeletal system, abnormalities of the gait pattern, movement restricitons etc. and learn how you can help your dog or which therapies would be helpful. You can bring your own dog or just watch.
Exhibition tours

Exhibitions tour starting at Freilager, 'Dogs in the Hoods' for 30 minutes, followed by a visit to the Museum of Cultures in Basel, for a tour by Beatrice Voirol of the Animalistic exhibition in the city. Beatrice Voirol is the curator of the exhibition 'animal! No culture without animals'
Please register directly by email , with Dogs in the Hoods, participation will cost 15 CHF per person and can be paid at the start of the tour.

A reading group share tales of dogs, read together and discuss the topics. Run by Sharing Stories
Street Art Workshop

Sign up for a mini-multi style street art workshop to recreate your own Ziggy ! Artwork 65 by artist Teddy. Learn to apply background and layers using acrylics and then create a stencil and spray paint your 'Ziggy'. This work will be yours to keep. One colour - 2 colours - 3 colours - your choice ! Anything goes in art!
Materials are provided for the workshop and have been kindly sponsored. 10 percent of proceeds will be donated to a local animal charity.
Ages: 10 - 100
Cost: 25 CHF per person

Dog walk
Saturday 17th, 10:00 - 11:30
A dog walk guided by Byron Dowse and Sabine Rotach, starting at the Museum of Cultures in Basel to relevant historical monuments and artifacts, ending with a visit to the 'Dogs in the Hoods' art exhibition at the end at Freilagerplatz. Registration with the Museum of Cultures is necessary to participate in this walk and it will cost 16 CHF per dog and their owner.
