The 'Horizons' art exhibition aims to open our eyes to new horizons, visually and through new insights. We hope to raise funds for the development organisation Horyzon, which supports socially disadvantaged youth in Colombia, Haiti, Palestine, South Sudan and Uganda. Horyzon has been committed to helping young people affected by violence, poverty and exclusion for over 50 years.

The exhibition will feature works ranging from abstract paintings, photographs, figurative works, photo collages, ink drawings, as well as sculptures of artists from England, India, Italy, Japan, South Africa and Switzerland. These artists express their global solidarity to support the plight of the youth, struggling at an existential minimum, to stay afloat, in these highly politically unstable countries.

Through this initiative, we hope to support the positive growth of young lives in dire situations, as well as artists who have experienced their own struggles, during the pandemic.

Workshops will be held in English and in German, with cross language translations, where needed.
